Talc

Both coated and uncoated grades of talc are used as reinforcing fillers. Talc is increasingly utilized in HDPE, PP, LDPE, PVC, ABS, and thermosetting compounds. It provides a smooth feel to plastic surfaces. Due to its chemical inertness, superior electrical and thermal resistance, and other properties, talc enhances the stiffness, hardness, and tensile strength of plastic products, improves surface quality, and imparts electrical, chemical, and thermal resistance.
